Students, please bring back the Free & Reduced meal forms. One per family is all that is needed. We will have a drawing for gift cards for elementary, middle and high school. There will be $50 and $25 gift cards available for each age range. This impacts our school very much! In recent years, few forms were turned in. This resulted in our Free and Reduced lunch count going down to 51%. (Our normal is about 80%). Our Free and Reduced percentage is used in our state formula, all federal money and most recently our ESSER money. For the past few years, our Title I money has been steadily going down as our Free and Reduced count declined. Title I pays for tutoring, part of preschool, as well as some parent nights and even materials and supplies. Additionally, we did not get nearly as much ESSER money as other area schools because our Free and Reduced count was so low. Please fill out the forms and return them! All forms that are in by Friday will have the students entered for a drawing for gift cards! Thank you!
