Summer School Parents,
This evening we sent home a wavier form for our trip to Fritz's Adventure on Thursday. This form needs to be signed an turned back in to us ASAP. This will be their ticket to get in Fritz's. If you paid for extra tickets, extra waivers were sent home with your child for you. You may hang on to your waiver, but you will need it signed and in hand when you enter with our group. Students will not be able to go with us on Thursday without the signed wavier. Also, tomorrow Coach Lansdown has invited the Summer School students to come up and watch some basketball during the day at the Bakersfield Shootout. Students can bring money for the concession stand if they would like.
Basketball Camp Tuesday June 28th at the Jerry Taylor Gymnasium. FREE. 1st-3rd grade 9:00-10:30, 4th-6th grade 11:00-12:30. Open to any student. Please bring your own water bottle.
Volleyball scrimmage this Friday, June 24th at Dora. The bus will leave at 1:00. Athletes wear blue shirts/black shorts. Come out and see the newest sport for BHS and support our athletes!
Tuesday June 28th the Bakersfield High School Boys & Girls basketball teams will be conducting a youth camp. FREE for 1st-3rd grade from 9-10:30 and FREE for 4th-6th from 11-12:30. Open to any student. Please plan to attend and bring your water bottle. Go Lions!!
VERY IMPORTANT VOLLEYBALL NEWS! Open gym on Tuesday June 21st from 5-7 for any girl in 7th-12th grade. Coach Bowen will be handing out lots of important information and working on volleyball skills. PLEASE plan to attend.

From the school nurse: Incoming seniors and 8th graders remember to get the immunizations that are required before school starts. Seniors need the second Meningococcal and 8th graders need the Tdap and first Meningococcal.
Students entering Pre-School and Kindergarten need to be up to date on all immunizations before school starts.

Monday, June 6, 2022--All summer baseball/softball games in Gainesville and Bakersfield have been cancelled for tonight.

The high school softball and baseball cook out will be Friday, June 3 at 5:30 at Pride Park. Join us as we recognize these players! Come prepared to play rag ball after the awards!

Information for BOYS Harding Basketball camp will go out Wednesday, June 1 at open gym. Students will have until Monday, June 6, to let Coach Denton know if he is going or not. Details will be provided at open gym on Wednesday, June 1.
The Bakersfield Honor Society had a great trip to the Memphis Zoo on Friday! The weather was just right for walking around a zoo and the company was great, too! These students represented BHS and the Lion Nation very well!

Mr. Grigg's bus will be running late. Today is the last day of school and it is a full day. Summer school starts June 6 and it is Monday through Thursday. Have a safe summer!

Registration for next year's seniors will follow the 6-12th grade awards assembly, followed by the Juniors at approximately 10:45. Sophomores and Freshman will register right after lunch with Sophomores at 12:30, and Freshman at 1:30. Parent are invited to come to registration. If you plan to come to registration, please come to the high school office to check in.
