Mrs Pickle's cooking class celebrated Mardis Gras last week. We made jambalaya, baguettes with roasted garlic puree, jalapeno poppers, and a king cake.

The Bakersfield staff wants to highlight and promote good character in our students. To this end we have begun a "Wall of Fame" project here in the Elementary. Students who are acknowledged for such things will be awarded a certificate in recognition of their meritorious deeds. Ms. Angie will be posting their pictures, so be on the lookout and help us celebrate our students together.
