
Today's Dinner Party in Mrs.Pickle's cooking class was Chinese-themed. Chloe and Seth made kung pao chicken, sushi, and lo mein noodles. Yummy!

FCA lock in with last night was intense— but one of the speakers commented that “there’s a peace about this particular group of students that you don’t see everywhere.”


We had Middle School Scholar Bowl today and were well represented! Congratulations to all the students! Thanks to all the sponsors of MS and HS--Mrs. Scott, Mrs. Tefft and Mrs. Fowler!

Notes went home today for Summer League Baseball and Softball! Please bring them back by April 5.

Baseball at Kosh on Saturday postponed. Tentative make up plans for next Saturday, April 6.

4th grade had a great time at Zanoni Mill today. Students participated in many learning activities related to conservation practices in Missouri.




The Middle School Scholar Bowl Tournament was today. Bakersfield got 5th place overall, and our own Cooper Bridges got 1st place individually!! Congratulations to all the area teams that participated.

Thank you Baylee Hutchinson for visiting 4th grade and talking to us about groundwater and how to keep it safe to drink. Students made an aquifer in a cup and watched how pollution can seep into the groundwater.

We had a fun day at the World Languages Showcase today. By general consensus, the Chinese dancers were a favorite!

Fifth grade will be taking a quiz over SOME of the states and capitals on Friday, March 29th. A list of the states was given out BEFORE we left for spring break.
