Congratulations to Natalie Durham, Allie Hollingshad, Ysabella Tello, and Micaela Williams. They are the Missouri State Champions for the Samsung Solve For Tomorrow contest with their project Tactile Astronomy, a plan designed to connect an astronomy app to a motorized pin art toy so blind people can “feel” the night sky.
Mrs. Summers sent an email to students about a new grant available to qualifying students at Missouri State University. It is a GREAT opportunity and MANY students will qualify! Please ask your senior about this scholarship. FAFSA must be done by February 1, 2025 (this Saturday) to qualify!!!

3 Baby Pictures plus a senior picture needs to be sent by the end of the month. Also, Mrs. Summers send an updated scholarship list at least once per week. With deadlines approaching, sometimes she sends these multiple times per week. Ask your senior if they have applied!

Each year, The Missouri Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (MAMIC) awards several- $1000 scholarships to graduating Missouri high school juniors and seniors planning to attend a Missouri college, university, community college, or vocational school. In addition, MAMIC also awards 1 - $1000 scholarship to a current college student. Attached you will find a flyer that briefly details these scholarship opportunities. The eligibility guidelines to be considered for the MAMIC High School Scholarship are as follows:
* Graduating High School Junior or Senior living in Missouri* Candidate must be attending a Missouri high school.* Candidate must have successful admission to ANY college, university, community college, or vocational technical school. It is no longer limited to only Missouri institutions. * Candidate must submit the MAMIC High School Scholarship application with a copy of high school transcript and photo by Monday, March 3, 2025.
