Thursday: Jostens will be here for the sophomores for class rings at 10:30, then Sr.'s at 11:40 for caps/gowns. Students don't need money, they just receive information. Orders will be placed on Nov. 6th.
Sr's are sponsoring a Halloween costume contest. Cost $1.00. Must be school appropriate.
Dodge Ball starts at 1:00 with the K-5 students. MS and HS to follow.
Friday: ACT Deadline is Next Friday-Nov. 8th for the Dec. ACT. . See Mrs. Summers if you need help registering!
Hat Day Friday for Zac Fowler--Zac is a BHS graduate and first Responder in the area. Zac has had some serious health issues so wear a hat for a buck and help out a community member!!
Saturday: Good luck Cross Country at Districts!! Boys run at 11:30, Girls at 12:20. Admission is $5.00

Congratulations to Gainesville Varsity and JV teams for taking first place, and Bakersfield teams for taking second in the Bakersfield Scholar Bowl Fall Tournament. We also had several place in individual scoring. Varsity: Cooper Bridges, Lane West, and Alex Kowiti. JV: Hailee Collins, Autumn Farel, Caroline Bentley, and Sam Hoskins. We are really proud of them all!!

FCCLA/MSFCCLA is hosting an outdoor movie night tomorrow, October 25, from 6:00-10:00 at the Pride Park Pavilion. There will be face painting at 6:00 by the Art Club, then a double feature: Hotel Transylvania and Gremlins. Concessions will be available. The cost is $4.00 per person or $10 for a family of three or more. In the case of rain or strong winds, the movie will be moved to the school cafeteria. Please come and join us!!!!!

POPCORN league Schedule has been released! Students were given one to take home. They have been notified which team they are on. See News link for details!

Don't forget Little Caesar's pizza orders will be delivered this Thursday, Oct. 24th. If any orders need to go home with students who ride the bus, please let them know. Orders can be picked up in the FEMA bldg at 3:45, and we are aiming to have all orders picked up by 5:30 p.m.

The Dodgeball Tournament has been rescheduled for Thursday, October 31st. It will begin at 1pm and for the elementary it will be done by the end of the school day. As a result, the K-3rd grade Halloween party times may vary from classroom to classroom. You will be receiving a forthcoming note with party times from your child's homeroom teacher.

FCCLA/MSFCCLA will be hosting an outdoor movie at the Pride Park Pavilion on Friday, October 25th. We will be showing a double feature, Hotel Transylvania and Gremlins. The movies will begin at dark, with other activities prior to that beginning at 6:00. The cost will be $4.00 per person or $10.00 for a family of three or more. FCCLA/MSFCCLA members will get in free and will get one free item from the concession stand. We will be selling hot dogs, chips, water, soda, candy, and hot chocolate. Members will be expected to work at the concession stand and/or gate, plus help with set-up/clean-up. We should be finished by 10:00 or so. Everyone is invited! Parents are strongly encouraged to come....we hope EVERYONE can come join us for a frighteningly good time! Don’t forget your lawn chairs and blankets!

Our Butter Braids will arrive tomorrow evening, October 22nd at 3:00 pm. To the sellers - Braids need to be frozen within 3 hours of pick up, so please bring something you can keep them cool in. They need to be kept them frozen until you're ready to use them.
