Due to the timing of incoming storms, we are NOT sending students to vo-tech today. Mrs. Summers will be contacting parents of those students impacted.

We will be monitoring the weather all day! The gates will be open in the event community members need access to the FEMA building. Staff and students are prepared to take shelter and remain at school until the storm has passed. In the event we are sheltering during dismissal time, buses will be held and students will not be allowed to leave until it is safe.

Dear Parent/Guardian:
Bakersfield is taking part in the Missouri School Climate and Culture Survey. Results from this survey will be used as part of the school improvement review during the 2024-2025 academic year. As part of this process, parents, students, and school employees are asked to voluntarily answer surveys regarding programs and services available to students.
Please take a few minutes to answer the survey at the link provided. Responses from all parents will be anonymously summarized and will become part of a report for the school district. The school district will use this report in the development of school improvement efforts.
If you have more than one child in school, please complete a survey for each individual child. The surveys will be processed so that school officials receive reports about each building in the district.
The questionnaires contain demographic and opinion questions. You have the option not to respond to any item or not to complete a survey at all.

Thank you for your help.
Sincerely,
Dr. Amy Padgett

The tornado relief fund at school is being used for people (students in school and folks out of school) who have needs! Thank you to Kyle Clayton and his crew for cleaning the scrap and donating all of those proceeds to the fund (killing two birds with one stone).
